Sunday Night Softball Standings

League History- The idea of the league began in the spring of 2004 on senior skip day. One day in senior resource, the idea of a softball gathering came about for senior skip day. Tim Story and others came up with the idea of a Softball-B-Q. While many other students went to the beach, Six Flags Darien Lake, or sat around, we decided to play softball. The day was a huge success with two full rosters. The Wegman's Recreation Complex was the site of the historical event. Two games were played and in between the first and second, a old fashion BBQ was held. StanleyJenkins.com members Andrew, Matt, and TBL made over 100 devilled eggs for the day. An abundance of baked beans, hamburgers and hots were present as well. After the huge sucess of the Softball-B-Q, many of the players and some people who heard about the Softball-B-Q wanted an encore, thus Sunday Night Softball was born. In the summer of 2004 the league was born with two teams; GCA and Poncho's Ranchos. The league was played every Sunday Night at 4:30pm EDT. The league was highly sucessful with around 8 or so Sunday Nights played.
